What is DXP
The Digital Experience Platform (DXP) is an innovative program which will add a range of digital experience-based technologies to the GovCMS platform. DXP at its core is about investing in new capabilities and improvements for GovCMS, guided by community direction.

Why DXP?
Digital tools such as Rules as Code (RaC) or Content as an API (CA3) are leading the way in improving/changing the way government is managing content and interaction. These tools help end users access what they need faster and with a higher degree of accuracy, improving the overall efficiency of service provision.
Digital tools benefits:
- Compliance- assist end users to understand what they need to do to remain compliant in their area.
- Information filters- provide information that is tailored to the end users needs so they don’t have to read through reams of irrelevant information.
- Consistency- provide consistent and reliable information across platforms.
- Transparent- end users can see the steps that lead to the end point and how that relates back to legislation/regulation.
- Adaptable- content can be updated quickly as and when needed.
