then upgrade SaaS websites from Drupal Core 10.5.x to 11.2.x
Key Milestones
- ✅ Build the GovCMS D11 foundations.
- Complete the Security Assessment.
- Launch the D11 distribution.
Note: There has been a delay in timeline, and as a result the D10-D11 Upgrades have been pushed back to kicking off in March 2026. - The D10-D11 upgrades.
- Retire the D10 distribution.

GovCMS follows the Drupal Core major release cycles to keep our distribution current.

❗ GovCMS D10 will reach end of life June 2026
Drupal 10 will reach end of life on December 9, 2026, after Drupal 12 has been released. No new releases of Drupal 10 will be made after this date. [Drupal.org(Opens in a new tab/window)]
PaaS sites that wish to use the GovCMS distribution should upgrade before June 2026 to remain inline with the overall distribution. PaaS sites that run their own Drupal profile should upgrade before the December 2026 EoL of Drupal 10.
