At GovCMS we are constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience. As the 21-22FY begins, we’re finalising some improvement proposals for our website, and starting to look ahead and plan some research into how our Service Desk could better meet your needs. All of this work is human-centred, it’s about what works, and doesn’t work, for you.
All Content Administration and Site Builder training sessions for the year are available online for registration. With only six months left in 2021, get in quick, as spots are filling up fast.
It's full steam ahead here at GovCMS as we continue on the road to D9. We are currently in the process of moving scheduled websites from D8 to D9.
The Department of Finance is in the process of establishing a new Whole of Government GovCMS Drupal Services Panel.
Rebekah dived straight into the deep end when she joined the GovCMS team. Facilitating not one, but two of our GovCMS Week Online events during her first fortnight as part of the branch.
In 2020 GovCMS and Salsa Digital worked closely together to develop a series of short Content Administration training videos. These videos cover everything from logging in, to taxonomies, and are a great companion to the training manuals or live training sessions available.
We made it! As of 11 May 2021, the GovCMS D9 distribution is available on GitHub.com. With end of life fast approaching for both Drupal 7 and Drupal 8, make sure you’ve got a plan for D9.

Chloe joined the GovCMS team in early 2020, but her journey with GovCMS started long before that. Chloe was a web publisher for the Attorney General’s Department from 2018 to 2020 gaining expertise in GovCMS and Drupal.

Join us for GovCMS Week Online. A series of short online events to celebrate how far GovCMS and our community have come, and to get ready for what’s ahead.
We’re looking for people who have used our website (www.govcms.gov.au) to fill out a short ten minute survey on their experience.
The GovCMS team have been lucky enough to retain Tara after her graduate rotation at Finance.
The current Drupal Services Panel arrangement expires on 30 June 2021. A new panel will be in place from 1 July.
The countdown is on to the launch of the GovCMS Drupal 9 distro!
