Summary: Learn the basics for publishing, editing and maintaining content. There are no prerequisites for this course.

Duration: 4 days (9:30am to 12:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

Course outline

  1. Login to the administration area and access key areas
  2. Create and manage content and content revisions
  3. Create and manage files and media assets
  4. Publish content and learn the GovCMS content moderation workflow
  5. Manage content URLs, URL aliases and redirects
  6. Use taxonomy to categorise content
  7. Create online forms
  8. Manage blocks of content and update site navigation
  9. Manage content layout
  10. Understand more about GovCMS and Drupal

Location: Microsoft Teams

Online Content administration training sessions are led by a facilitator via the Microsoft Teams platform.

A calendar placeholder will be sent to registered participants once the registration has been confirmed. A calendar invites containing the link to attend the training course will be sent to all participants a few days before the course is scheduled to commence.

Cost: $600.00 (excl. GST)

Cancellation fee: The GovCMS trainer is based interstate and travels to Canberra to conduct all face-to-face training. Registered participants who cancel within 7 days of the training commencement date will be charged the full fee. If you don’t show up, the no-show fee will be the same as the cancellation fee.
