Default Cache Time Update – Change Delivery Suspended

We were excited about the benefits of Extending Default Cache Time to Improve Your Website’s Performance announced back in April. However, after much consideration, we rolled-back the change to the original default cache lifetime for dynamic content of 15 minutes.

We worked diligently to deliver this improvement to the platform. After unexpected issues impacted your experience, it was necessary to roll-back the changes. The Drupal community acknowledges that this update is essential. We can go ahead once an update is made to Drupal core that improves how Drupal manages the invalidation of cached list tag entities.
