Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 – the clock is ticking!

The clock is ticking! Only 4 months left until Drupal 7 (D7) retires from the GovCMS distribution. We urge all of the D7 community to make the move to Drupal 9 (D9) before November 2022. If you are unsure of where to start, or stuck in the development phase, please get in touch as soon as possible.

GovCMS invites you to preview the next upcoming release

The third major release for 2022 will be the upgrade of Drupal Core from 9.3 to 9.4.

Mega Meetup – it's happening

Save the date! Results from the survey are in, and we will be hosting our first Mega Meetup since 2019 on 9 November 2022. We’ve heard from the community and will be taking your feedback onboard to make this event inclusive for everyone.

Machinery of Government changes

Machinery of Government (MoG) changes can change the way you run your website. We’ve put together information to support you through this process. We’re here to help you plan any transition work that may be required.

Join our GovCMS training

GovCMS offers two training courses that assist with developing your knowledge of how to use our Content Management System. We still have spots available for upcoming training courses available on our website.

Stale environments

Every month, GovCMS automatically removes stale environments (non-production environment) from the platform. This applies to both GovCMS SaaS and PaaS customers. The purpose of this is to improve the performance of GovCMS, by reducing the unnecessary cost and resources.

DXP Update

The work on the DXP project is progressing, but taking a little longer than originally planned. At this stage we are planning to host a community showcase in September, where each of the 4 proof of concept projects will be presented. If this date changes (you all know what project timelines are like - they do change) we'll let you know.

Using GovCMS support resources

Finding the right support resources can be time consuming. To help you find the right support, we’ve put together a quick overview of the different tools and resources available.

New email distribution service

GovCMS have started using a new email distribution service. As an existing subscriber of the GovCMS Agency Update you have been added to this service as part of managing our communications. This service is an Australian based, Australian hosted service.
