The Department of Finance has finalised the first group of 8 suppliers for the Panel. These suppliers have been approved by GovCMS to provide expertise in GovCMS and Drupal.

There’s less than four months left of 2021 and our remaining training session is filling up fast. Register now for the last Content Administration session of 2021.
If you can’t make it, don’t worry. Our live training sessions will pick back up in February 2022. Until then you can access the Content Administration and Site Builder training manuals online, 24/7.
On the 30th of September the GovCMS community on Discourse will close. With users being redirected to GovTEAMS. This change is in response to feedback that having too many channels, makes finding the right one harder.

50 members of the community turned out to ask (and answer) questions about Drupal and GovCMS. As always, it was fantastic to see members of the community answer each other's questions, sharing their own expertise and knowledge.
GovCMS is committed to continuous improvement. That’s why we’re already adding great things to the Drupal 9 (D9) distribution.
The 2.4.0 release on 7 September 2021 included the addition of the Layout Builder Modal and Layout Builder Restrictions modules to the D9 distribution. These modules extend the functionality of the Layout Builder core module, providing users with a better interface, and the ability to control which blocks and layouts appear.
Over the past few months GovCMS have reached out to over 200 customers regarding their experiences with the GovCMS Service Desk. The feedback received has been invaluable as we work to improve your experience with GovCMS.
Based on your feedback and best practice, we’re making some changes to how the Service Desk operates to make sure everyone is kept in the loop.
The Regional Investment Corporation (RIC) may only have three people managing their website, but that doesn’t stop them doing a lot with it. The RIC website is their organisation’s single source of truth for customers and staff, so the team is continuously updating their website with their latest products and changes.
Penetration testing is an activity used to identify security vulnerabilities. Depending on the features your site has, or the security policy of your organisation, a pen test of your site might be required. It's important to know that you’ll need to give us at least five days' notice before you run a test.

To make it easier for you to connect, find information and get answers, we’re reducing the number of channels we have. From 30 September 2021, GovCMS will be closing the community.govcms.gov.au site and moving the discussion to the GovTEAMS platform.

At GovCMS we are constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience. As the 21-22FY begins, we’re finalising some improvement proposals for our website, and starting to look ahead and plan some research into how our Service Desk could better meet your needs. All of this work is human-centred, it’s about what works, and doesn’t work, for you.

In 2020 GovCMS and Salsa Digital worked closely together to develop a series of short Content Administration training videos. These videos cover everything from logging in, to taxonomies, and are a great companion to the training manuals or live training sessions available.
