Winter mode: level up your GovCMS Training skills

Our GovCMS training sessions are returning this June and August, with opportunities to learn both online and in person. These sessions are a great way to build your skills, connect with other GovCMS users, and learn directly from our experienced trainers.

Whether you’re completely new to GovCMS or looking to extend your site‑building skills, we’re offering two tailored courses - and there’s still capacity in both.

Introduction to Content Management (online):

This four-day online course is perfect for anyone looking to get comfortable managing content in a GovCMS site. You’ll learn how to publish and edit content, manage media assets, set up URL redirects, categorise content with taxonomy, and create online forms. No prior CMS experience is required - just bring your curiosity and a laptop. Held from Monday 15 June to Thursday 18 June from 9:30am – 12:00pm each day.

Advanced Content Management (in-person):

This two-day in-person course is designed for users who already have some experience with Drupal or content management systems. You’ll explore how to extend the functionality of your GovCMS site. This includes creating advanced content listings, configuring image styles, using taxonomy, managing menus, and improving your site's searchability - all while following best practices for performance and security. Held on Tuesday 4 & Wednesday 5 August from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
