#Super2023 – Thanks for your support

Monday 18 December 2023

Take a bow GovCMS community. We would like to acknowledge your excellent communication and support during a very busy and productive year. Looking ahead, 2024 is shaping up to be a great year.

After a massive year for everyone, let’s look back over 2023 and the many top highlights and achievements:

GovCMS has 106 agencies, hosting 352 sites, with a further 31 sites in development.

  • Our service desk dynamos triaged 4,707 ticket requests over the last 12 months.
  • We undertook 4 significant procurements with 2 of the 4 completed and one where we have started appointing suppliers with more to come. The key outcomes are;
    • a new GovCMS Hosting Contract – Salsa Digital selected as the preferred supplier, partnering with amazee.io, as a consortium.
    • Establishment of Digital Experience Platform and Content Personalisation category on the Drupal Services Panel. We announced our enterprise adoption of ‘Rules as Code’ and the first two suppliers on the Drupal Services Panel offering Digital Experience Platform tools on GovCMS (there are more to come).
    • A refreshed GovCMS Web Protection Services contract awarded to Telstra for the provision of the suite of Akamai tools.
  • The GovCMS Drupal 10 (D10) distribution took flight 28 July with all SaaS sites migrated, and just a few PaaS sites still needing to complete their upgrades.
  • Welcomed you to our 8th GovCMS Birthday Meetup in May, and again enjoyed seeing your smiles at November’s Mega Meetup.
  • Farewelled longtime CIO John Sheridan, and welcomed our new CIO, Peter Qui.
  • GovCMS 3.0 officially opened for business 1 November 2023.

Thanks for your amazing support throughout 2023. Your commitment, energy, and engagement with us and through our growing GovCMS community, is why we love what we do here at GovCMS!

We’re excited for what’s in store in 2024. We wish you all a very happy and safe festive season and new year.
