It’s live! We’re excited to launch our newly redesigned website. This uplift reflects our commitment to modernising and reducing technical debt, strengthening accessibility and inclusion and delivering future-ready digital architecture.
We approached the project in two phases:
Phase 1: GovCMS meets CivicTheme’ Out of the Box’
This was the migration of all the content and transforming the previous theme’s structure.
We then soft launched the public beta of the website, to gather as much user experience feedback to help inform our site.
Phase 2: GovCMS specific customisations
Phase 2’s focus was on tailoring the website for our specific needs. Towards the end of the project, ready for launch, we completed the accessibility audit. The final part of the project was our contributions to CivicTheme core. Specifically, this means that all current and future government websites using CivicTheme, will be able to benefit and reduce some of their development effort.
