GovCMS D11 distribution officially on the platform

The rubber has hit the road for all things Drupal 11 on the GovCMS platform. We are very excited to announce the official release of the GovCMS D11 distribution.

While we’ve managed a few minor scheduling adjustments along the way, the overall program remains on track. We’ve proactively reshuffled some tasks to minimise impact and ensure a smooth, high quality migration experience for everyone.

Our updated timeframe for upgrading all SaaS sites is March–May 2026. We’ll continue to work closely with you to share updates along the way.

What you need to do

If you haven’t already done so, book in your D11 upgrade as soon as possible. The upgrade consists of a 2- week timebox for your team to work with us on testing, reviewing, and finalising your changes.

The best way you can prepare for the D11 upgrade is to review your website and remove legacy technical debt. You can review the full list in the D11 readiness Knowledge Base article(Opens in a new tab/window)
