Welcome to 2022
It’s full steam ahead here at GovCMS. We are refreshed and ready for the new year, and have some exciting plans in the works for the GovCMS community. Taking on board your feedback, we’ve put our heads together to design more interesting and targeted events to meet your needs.
Coming up in mid-February we have our GovCMS Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 (D9) Live Q&A. This will be a great opportunity to ask all your D9 questions and anything else about GovCMS you may be curious to know.
In late March, we will be doing all things celebratory as GovCMS is turning 7! The team here are very excited and cannot wait to host our GovCMS online birthday bash, which you’re invited to. We will be focusing on everything that GovCMS will become including offering greater opportunities for meeting our community’s needs.
We are even more eager to be hosting our second Community Sprint. Last one we saw amazing collaboration and ideas come from the community which we are currently in the process of implementing into GovCMS. These are just a few of the exciting events coming in 2022.
Further to these great events, we have plans in progress to improve your user experience with GovCMS. These include:
- Adding content personalisation to GovCMS sites
- Helping agencies engage suppliers from the new Drupal Services Panel
- Learning more about how we can integrate GovCMS with Digital Experience Platforms
- Getting your input into the future of GovCMS as we prepare the tender to refresh the hosting contract in 2023.
Another super busy year awaits us all. GovCMS have lots more in store for our community in 2022, so stay tuned.
