The Drupal Services Panel (DSP) Product and Services Guide has been updated to reflect changes to pricing for some services, and now includes the addition of ‘Drupal Application Support’ services.
In our role as managers of the DSP we work closely with the approved suppliers to ensure the Panel provides competitive prices and value for money for the Commonwealth. We recently conducted a Best and Final Offer (BAFO) process with the Panel suppliers, which gave them an opportunity to make their pricing more competitive. We have accepted all the amendments they have put forward.
A new version of the DSP Product and Services Guide is now available, contact the GovCMS team to get an updated copy.
When the Panel was first established one of the service categories was interpreted in a variety of ways by suppliers, so we chose not to offer that service until we had a chance to discuss the issue with the Panel, and give them an opportunity to reconsider their approach and pricing. We’re pleased to advise that this service is now available from 12 of the Panel suppliers.
The ‘Drupal Application Support’ services category enables agencies to buy blocks of 10, 20 or 50 hours of support per month for a minimum of three months, to a maximum of a 12 month contract. Specific suppliers have also provided details on how unused hours are treated at the end of each month, and at the end of the contract. Check the DSP Product and Services Guide for more details.
